Half Day Trips - £30 Adult £14 Child under 18
Half Day Kayaking Trips will suit anyone who is water confident, with good fitness levels. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian. Any child under 13 will have to be in a double canoe with an adult.
Our half day trips cover a huge variety of stunning scenery on this mighty river. On routes upriver we leave from the dramatic China Clay dock area at Fowey, paddle through the great tidal bowl of the mid river area, enter idyllic and unspoilt Penpoll Creek with its Shipwrecks and finish by navigating "Wind in the Willows" creek to Lerryn.
We will stop for a break usually kayaking right into the hidden harbour village of Golant on trips to Fowey or at St Winnow on trips to Lostwithiel. Either way your guide will take you through all the interesting locations and wildlife en route as you will be canoeing over 5 miles of river and creek and should allow 4 hours for the trip.
Tide dictates the start and end of our half day trips though we will always run with the tide behind you helping you onwards to the destination. These are one way trips so transport is by minibus to the start or from the end of your paddle.
