Climbing is a great activity for people of all ages and physical abilities.
All at once challenging and always exhilarating with the illusion of danger that sets your adrenalin pumping, even though you know that there’s someone keeping you safe on the other end of the rope.
Choosing our climbing areas for their ease of access and general beauty the high quality of the experiences that you will gain by visiting them with us is guaranteed, whatever your climbing background.
Your day will begin at 8:30 when we will meet at Callington Free Car Park before heading for our destination which will one of the moor-land crags chosen according to the predicted weather. We will then spend the rest of the day developing our ability to climb, learning some of the rope and climbing techniques and generally having fun around piles of rock.
Abseiling can be fun too, so we’ll throw a bit of that in just because we can, heading back before the late afternoon rush gets going.
Instructor: Nigel Kerr is an experienced and qualified rock-climbing instructor that can often be seen around the moor-land climbing venues that have become his second home since moving to Cornwall some ten years ago.
With a prior background in Fitness and Sports instruction Nigel brings twenty years of group experience to his work, ensuring that your enjoyment of the experience is second only to your safety.
